Here is some of the stuff I've been doing lately. Really loving the pencil right now!

It's been a long looooooooong time!

Hi all!

It's been way too long since I posted something in here.
It's mainly because I've been very busy with school and thinking about what will be next. Currently I'm doing an internship as a designer and am loving it! The only thing is that it's going to be very hard to find work after that, as a designer. I'm currently doing research and looking for different ways how I can use painting/drawing as a way of making money. I've found out that there are a lot more ways I can go about this then I initially thought. Things like One Fantastic Week really gave me alot of information.

Here's a collection of a couple of things I've been doing in the past few months:

Rock Formation

Had some fun with this one after working on another one for hours that didn't work out at all.

Flower Girl

Had a whole afternoon of fun drawing this one :D

I'll probably make some adjustments in the next couple of days. Like giving her some props or something else then high heels as shoes :P

Floating city

Painting like hell these days. Really having tons of fun! :D

Not that super great, and I just saw those propellors are way too small :P
But I like it and had alot of fun with it.

Watts Atelier - Online Program - Day 2 and 3

Here are the best drawings of day 2 and 3 of drawing all day alongside with Jeff Watts. I'm really getting excited by all of this drawing and the speed at wich I feel I'm progressing is just amazing. The potential and efficiency of the program just blows me away!

Watts Atelier - Online Program

Today I started my first day on my one month in the online program at Jeff Watts his atelier.
I came across it via a friend who had improved alot and it looked like the extra training I needed. So after getting all my materials this morning, I prepared and took off!
I mainly am starting this course for getting myself in a good working rythm. That way, even if I don't have the money for continuing the program. I at least keep practicing and keep improving. That's all for now and here is my best drawing of today:

Character assignment

It has been way too long since I posted on here, so here are 3 quick sketches for a character we have to make as an assignment.

The main focus is on modeling and texturing, so we didn't get much time for concepting.

Gouache impuls

Started with the idea of doing a small drawing on toned paper with white pencil for highlights, when suddenly I'm holding my paint brushes and my desk is filled with gouche :P

Not so correct, but alooooot of fun!! :)
